At Amberley Care Home we provide Residential, Respite, Dementia and Nursing Care for our residents.

Our experienced and dedicated team enable us to care for those with physical disabilities, those who require end of life care, those with high dependency needs, and those who become infirm.

Should your care requirements change while you are with us, it’s no problem! We regularly assess the care we are providing and ensure that it is tailored to your current needs and requirements.

We are passionate about welcoming each resident to their new home, and we will take as much time as you need to help you settle in. From the moment you arrive at Amberley Care Home, our team will ensure that your stay is enjoyable and comfortable.

Within your first 48 hours you will have met with your dedicated staff member and discussed your care plan.

Residents are encouraged to bring personal items, such as photographs, ornaments, etc. to make your room truly your own, and your family and friends are welcome and may remain with you while you settle into your new surroundings.

We have an Open Door Policy, which means that there are no set visiting times – friends and family are welcome to visit as often as they want, at any time (within reason and respect to other residents!) and we encourage them to become fully involved in life at Amberley Care Home.

We are able to accommodate small pets in some cases, and welcome larger pets to visit where possible.

There’s lots to do at Amberley Care Home including various social events, entertainment and activities such as chair Zumba, arts and crafts and book clubs are organised to ensure that there is always something interesting and stimulating going on. Our Activities Coordinators will support and encourage you with any hobbies, interests and excursions.  Individual therapeutic treatments can be arranged to suit your needs.

Birthdays are celebrated with a party and you will also receive a birthday cake… of course!

Delicious and nutritious meals are prepared onsite by our in-house chef and catering staff using local suppliers for meat, fruit, and vegetables. We cater for specialised diets and for anyone who may require assistance when eating.

Our breakfast, lunch and supper are served in the main dining room; however, snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. Room service is also available on request.
