Things to do in Sale, Greater Manchester
There are lots of things for our residents to do outside of the home too. Amberley Care Home is positioned in the attractive historic town of Sale, which is on the outskirts of Stockport and less than 20 minutes from Manchester city centre. The home is conveniently sat within a residential neighbourhood, so residents have access to a variety of local amenities which include supermarkets, shops, and eateries plus much more in the neighbouring areas of Timperley and Altrincham. We organise group outings on a regular basis, and we have our very own minibus and chauffeur-driven Mercedes is available to take our residents wherever they want to go.
Our home is also close to transport links, meaning residents can easily meet with relatives, whether for a catch-up at our home or spending the day exploring the local area. There are lots of family-friendly excursions to be experienced within Manchester, such as the Science and Industry Museum, which features an interactive gallery where you can learn about a range of innovations and ideas. During the warmer months, Sale Botanic Gardens is a beautiful green space that can be enjoyed for bird watching or having a picnic by the lake. Manchester Art Gallery is a fabulous day out for art lovers, where you can explore the various free exhibitions being displayed.
