Amberley Care Home is proud to offer a beautiful, contemporary cinema room. Developed as part of our recent refurbishment, the cinema at Amberley is a key aspect of establishing a routine while moving to a new home as it naturally tends to bring people closer together and helps to make leisure time even more enjoyable.

Our comfortable theatre is ideal for watching your all time favourite films with loved ones or catching up with fellow residents to watch a classic film together. Our residents are encouraged to use our cinema facility to relax, unwind and of course, indulge in a selection of beverages, popcorn, and other goodies.

Despite being one of the most recent additions to Amberley Care Home, our cinema room has quickly become one of the most favourite activities for residents to enjoy. The combination of the comfortable chairs, blackout blinds and the large screen creates the ideal environment for our residents to socialise, enjoy a selection of drinks and snacks and fully immerse themselves in the cinema experience.

Our film collection is constantly expanding, and with a different film playing every day our cinema has quickly established itself as a major draw at Amberley Care Home. It also provides a handy and comfortable setting for family and friends to enjoy the ultimate big-screen entertainment experience which is also available for private use.

Cinema Room FAQs

Our cinema room has been designed to offer residents the full cinema experience without having to leave the comfort of their own home. From a big screen and comfortable seating, to cinema-style refreshments and lots of movie titles to choose from, residents can visit here to sit back and watch their favourite films.

Each and every resident is welcome to make use of our cinema room as part of their monthly fee. Relatives and loved ones are also invited to join us in using our cinema room, and if requested, we can arrange for residents to have private viewings with their friends and family.

We are glad to be able to offer a variety of titles and genres and we work closely with our residents to learn about their favourite films so that we can ensure that there is something suitable for everyone. On occasion, we also show special televised events such as sports and hold group cinema sessions for like-minded individuals which can often be a great form of reminiscence therapy.
