The Activities Team at Amberley go to great lengths to ensure that our residents experience all the wonderful things that Sale has to offer.
We arrange plenty of opportunities for our residents to get out and about in the local community, so they can really get a complete sense of their new home located in Sale. Our social calendar is always full of exciting excursions, from trips to the shops, to much bigger events like the annual Sale Festival.

What is Included in My Stay at Amberley Care Home?
Your fees at Amberley Care Home cover a wide range of care services and facilities. The health and overall wellbeing of our residents is our number one priority. The majority of the medical care you will need during your stay with us therefore is included in your fee. As part of that fee, you will receive:

Nursing Care in Sale
Whether you require minimal assistance, or support day and night, our qualified nursing team is on hand 24/7. The team are highly trained and have the skills and knowledge to support older people and residents with physical disabilities, high dependency needs, and those who need palliative care.
Before each resident’s admission, we will conduct a care assessment so we can get to know them and their loved ones on a personal level. This also helps us in creating a care plan specifically for them. We understand that for many, their care needs will change as time goes on. Our fantastic care team will consistently keep track of all our resident’s needs and adjust their plans accordingly.
Residential Care in Sale
Our residential care home is intended for those residents who may require professional support from time to time, but for the most part can continue living their life as they normally would. We believe it is important to take a comprehensive approach to residential care, ensuring that the physical, mental and emotional needs of our residents are entirely met.

The needs and interests of our residents is at the core of all we do at Amberley Care Home. We are very proud of our facility, which is designed to support all of our residents including those with forms of dementia.
Our team undertakes Dementia Awareness training to ensure they have a thorough and up to date understanding of dementia. They also take the time to get to know each and every individual resident, their likes, dislikes and personal tastes so that they can provide person-centred care in an environment that is comfortable for them.
Respite Care in Sale
Respite care is intended for those who may be recovering from a short stint in hospital, or to give caregivers a break by taking over their daily care responsibilities. Amberley Care Home is fortunate to have their very own private landscaped gardens and even a putting green, adding to the endless opportunities our residents have to enjoy the great outdoors.
No matter what kind of shopping you prefer, you are sure to find something suitable for you in Sale and the surrounding area. If you are in for a full day of shopping, the world-renowned shopping experience, the Trafford Centre is just over 10 minutes away. The Trafford Centre is fit for all ages and certainly won’t disappoint, from big brands and high street names, to leisure activities such as adventure golf and over 50 restaurants.
Closer to Amberley and in the centre of Sale, you will find Stanley Square. Here you can enjoy a mix of major and independent retailers, as well as a variety of places to eat, drink and relax. The Makers Market also visits the centre of Sale on the third Sunday of every month, offering a range of award-winning delights, from food and drink, to arts and crafts.
Every June, Sale enjoys its annual festival where the community and even people from afar gather to celebrate the town with events for all ages to enjoy. From jazz and guitar performances and gin tasting, to films on the big screen and historic walks exploring the area, the itinerary of the Sale Festival provides plenty of fun experiences for our residents and visitors to enjoy.
