The wellbeing, happiness, and comfort of our residents is our first priority. Our team provides care for elderly people who are finding it increasingly difficult to look after themselves at home.
Our service offers a comfortable and safe environment where residents can enjoy the benefits of group living, while retaining their independence through a personalised care plan. Our care team is trained to provide each and every resident here at Amberley Care Home with as much or as little assistance as they require, no matter what your reasons for joining us might be.
Residential Care at Amberley Care Home
Amberley Residential Care gives you the freedom to live your life your way. Specialists deliver our person-centered approach 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We value each of our residents’ right to live their lives as they see fit, embracing all of their differences and passions while maintaining a lively and sociable lifestyle.
When it comes to Residential Care, the levels of care and support provided are absolutely tailored to each of our residents and their individual needs. In many circumstances, the assistance required will be little, but in others, the level of assistance will be significantly higher. It genuinely all depends on the individual, and regardless of the level of care needed, our team is always available.
Our Attitudes Towards Residential Care
Residential care at Amberley is an excellent alternative for people who are struggling to live independently. However, some older people choose to live in a residential care facility because it provides security, social interaction, and continuing support and help.
Some people are under the impression that deciding to live in residential care facilities should only be done as a “last resort” option. A decision that should only have to be made when they or a loved one are extremely ill or simply unable to care for themselves. However, this just isn’t the case, as there are many advantages that living in a care home has to offer.
What can I expect from Residential Care at Amberley Care Home?
We spend time with each new resident and their family prior to their arrival to ensure that a personalised care plan can be prepared for them. If your care needs vary over time, we have a friendly, caring team who can assist you and customise your care plan as needed.
Is Residential Care the Best Option?
If you or a loved one are finding it difficult to live alone, or living alone is beginning to take its toll on either your mental or physical health, then perhaps residential care would be a great alternative to start looking into. Residential care, or group living arrangements, can often make all the difference. This style of care is perfect for those individuals who sometimes just need a little bit of extra help to keep doing the things they love.
How We Care For Our Residents
Our residents never fail to get back up and continue to live their lives to the fullest, no matter what life throws at them. They show us every single day just how strong and determined they are, and we love that about them. Amberley Care Home is committed to helping our residents as much as we can every day, because no one should have to overcome their challenges alone.
Included in our Residential Care
The price of your stay at Amberley includes a number of facilities and supplementary services. Every resident will have access to the proper medical care; care that’s customised to each and every individual. These services will include:
Residents who require dental care will have complete access to a dentist, and these appointments will be covered by the full charge of staying with us here at Amberley.
A private Chiropodist comes to Amberley every six weeks, however residents also have the option of having their own private NHS Chiropodist if visits are needed more regularly.
Access to a GP
Residents will be able to book and attend GP appointments on their own, or with the help of a staff member if they would prefer to do so.
As part of the Amberley Care Home’s living costs, all residents can have any vision-related concerns addressed by an optician. This can happen either externally or internally.
Physiotherapy appointments, which can be arranged through a GP or privately, can help our residents feel more like themselves again.
