Facilities at Our Luxury Care Home in Trafford

At our care home, our main mission is to support older people to live independently in a home that feels like they’re own and one where they can continue to live their lives however they wish whilst receiving the care they need. We prioritise offering those who reside with us ample opportunities to socialise, pursue new interests, and continue their much-loved hobbies. Our team of activities coordinators work closely with our residents, building relationships with them and learning their likes and dislikes, so these can be acknowledged when creating our weekly programme.

Residents never have to go too far to experience a whole host of entertainment and things to do. As part of the all-inclusive lifestyle our care home offers, residents have a plethora of high-end facilities in the comfort of their own home, including a Cinema Room, Hair & Beauty Salon, Private Gardens and more.

Things to do in Sale, Trafford

We have plenty to offer our residents outside of the home too. Amberley Care Home is situated in the beautiful historic town of Sale, a great place less than 20 minutes from the centre of Manchester. Conveniently sat amongst a residential neighbourhood, residents have access to a variety of nearby amenities including supermarkets, shops, eateries, and outdoor spaces, plus much more in the neighbouring communities of Timperley and Altrincham. We understand the importance of routine, which is why our minibus and Mercedes are available to take our residents wherever they need to go.

We also have excellent external transport links at our disposal, meaning residents can easily welcome visiting relatives, whether for a catch-up in our home, or day trips exploring the local area. There are lots of family-friendly excursions to be had near Amberley Care Home, such as the Science and Industry Museum, where there is an interactive gallery to help teach about a whole range of innovations and ideas. On sunny days, Sale Botanic Gardens is a beautiful area for bird watching, having a picnic by the lake, and letting the kids run wild in the playground.

Nursing Care

Nursing Care includes both medical and personal care for those who require a higher level of around-the-clock assistance. No matter how much or little support our residents need, we have nurses and carers available at all times of the day and night. Our nursing care is provided by highly-qualified professionals in a safe and comfortable environment that is fully equipped with profiling beds, hoists, and Nurse Call Systems.

In many nursing homes, specialised care will also be provided alongside general elderly care. Our dedicated team is able to offer wellbeing and medical support to those with physical limitations, long-term health concerns, and high dependency care needs. With all our care services we work hard to provide a person-centred approach to care, by building strong relationships, learning about residents as individuals, and creating bespoke care plans.

Residential Care

Residential care homes are available to people who reap the benefits of living in a communal setting rather than on their own or in their family’s home. They are also ideal for those who may experience difficulty in carrying out everyday tasks such as maintaining personal care. Residential care is a comprehensive, elderly care service that ensures residents feel can continue living their lives comfortably and with the right assistance for them.

At our luxurious care home located in Trafford, staff is always on hand to provide as much or as little support as required with daily activities, including personal care, medication management, and mobility. Residents also have the advantage of using our range of on-site facilities as much as they wish, such as our Cinema Room and Hair & Beauty Salon

Dementia Care

Dementia is a progressive neurological condition that affects people in all different ways, but commonly impacts memory, thinking, and social abilities. We understand that every person living with dementia is different and whilst some residents may only need minor assistance, others may need considerably more. We provide bespoke dementia care plans that meet our residents’ specific needs and monitor these regularly to accommodate any necessary changes.

We work hard to provide a perfect balance of providing support and encouraging independence. With our dementia care and support, our residents living with dementia can continue to live their lives to the full, with the correct care and support from our fully-trained specialists.

Respite Care

Respite care is a short-term care alternative that provides support to those who have been injured or recovering from an illness, as well as a break for carers who need to take some time for themselves. At Amberley Care Home, we are proud to offer this service to help reduce the stresses and concerns that can be induced by these situations.

Whether it’s for a couple of weeks or a few months, or even just as a trial period to see if our care home is right for you, we welcome those who require respite to make full use of the support and facilities provided by our care home. A minimum length of stay applies for our respite care.
