How to Find Us

Visitors travelling to our care home in Sale benefit from excellent public transport links from multiple nearby towns and locations.

Visitors can take the Metrolink tram on the Green Line from Manchester Victoria Station to Brooklands tram stop. Trams run every 12 minutes and the journey takes about 26 minutes.

The green or purple Metrolink tram is the quickest option from Altrincham to Sale, with trams departing every 6 minutes and taking just 9 minutes. Bee Network buses also run every 10 minutes from Altrincham Interchange to Stanley Mount Stop, with a 15-minute journey time on the 263 bus.

Visitors can take the Metrolink tram from Manchester Airport to Wythenshawe Park, then change for the 249 bus. The total journey takes approximately 1 hour and 3 minutes.

Walkden Gardens or known to some as Sale’s ‘secret garden’ boasts beautiful Japanese and Fuschia gardens and acts as a perfect backdrop for outdoor events and performances hosted throughout the year. Our care home is fortunate to have its very own private landscaped gardens and even a putting green, adding to the endless opportunities our residents have to enjoy the great outdoors. 

No matter what kind of shopping you prefer, you are sure to find something suitable for you in Sale and the surrounding area. If you are in for a full day of shopping, the world-renowned shopping experience, the Trafford Centre is just over 10 minutes away. The Trafford Centre is fit for all ages and certainly won’t disappoint, from big brands and high street names, to leisure activities such as adventure golf and over 50 restaurants.

Closer to Amberley Care Home and in the centre of Sale, you will find Stanley Square. Here you can enjoy a mix of major and independent retailers, as well as a variety of places to eat, drink and relax. The Makers Market also visits the centre of Sale on the third Sunday of every month, offering a range of award-winning delights, from food and drink, to arts and crafts.
