Amberley Care Home Transforms into a Winter Wonderland

Staff of Amberley Care Home were delighted to reveal the Christmas decorations they had put up both inside and outside the home to create a Winter Wonderland for our residents. There was a countdown for the lights to be switched on just as it had turned dark outside in order to see their full effect. Residents were excited to look outside their windows and see the festive light display in all its glory.

Inside the home are countless Christmas decorations, including Christmas trees, a village scene, banners and a mini Santa - the staff really went to town in each room and everyone at Amberley appreciates the effort.

In the lead up to Christmas our residents partake in many festive themed activities from wreath making to sing-a-longs, to watching Christmas films and baking traditional Christmas treats. It's a wonderful time for everyone at Amberley Care Home, spirits are high and the countdown is on to the big day.

We want to say a big thank you to our heads of departments Tara, Sarah, Angela and Steve for all their hard work over the last few days.
