A Dining Experience to be Proud of

Dining Room

At Amberly Care Home in Sale, we are incredibly proud of the dining experience we have developed for our residents, from afternoon teas and delectable seasonal menus to the dining rooms and private areas we encourage our residents to dine in.

Dining is so much more than food and drink, and for many, opportunities to dine, socialise with others and appreciate a good meal is a hobby. We understand how important this is to our residents, which is why we have placed great focus on creating a dining experience that leaves our residents always feeling satisfied.

This all begins with our fantastic catering team, who work hard every day to produce a seasonal menu that uses locally sourced and fresh ingredients. Every single meal is carefully considered and created with our resident's nutritional needs, allergies and preferences in mind.

For instance, we understand that some of our residents require special diets, such as puréed food. Our team is dedicated to attention to detail and making the dining experience special for everyone, and ensuring that every plate that leaves the kitchen is presented in a five star way.

Pictured below are our catering team; Sarah, Amy, Kieran, and Nathan (and not forgetting Hugh, Tracy, and John who were having a well-earned rest). These are the talented people behind the fantastic food that is served every day to all our wonderful residents. Sarah, who heads the catering team, even won the company's 'Eat Well Ambassador Award' earlier this year.

We enhance our dining experience further by giving our residents the freedom to dine in a variety of places, such as our dining rooms and café with other residents, the garden when the nice weather allows, our private dining room with loved ones, or the comfort of their very own room.

It's not just the standard mealtimes we focus on, but we also strive to deliver great dining experiences for special occasions and social holidays, such as National Chocolate Day.

Along with our exceptional dining experience, we are also proud to have a food hygiene rating of 5 / very good. With every aspect of our care and facilities, we strive to achieve a high standard and we are always looking for ways to further improve.
