Entertaining Events & Employee of the Month
Amberley Care Home was a month filled with joy, laughter and a touch of elegance as we embraced a variety of entertaining events to complement the significant change of staff uniforms. The new uniforms brought a fresh and professional look, symbolising our ongoing commitment to providing excellent care and comfort for our residents.
The month kicked off with a captivating performance by Helen, a talented singer whose wonderful voice enchanted the residents. Her repertoire of songs brought back fond memories and created a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. Residents were visibly moved by her performance, with many singing along and tapping their feet to the rhythm.
Adding to the excitement, Noah's Ark paid a visit, bringing a delightful array of pets for the residents to interact with. This visit was a highlight for many, as the presence of animals provided therapeutic benefits such as reducing stress and combating loneliness. The joy on the residents' faces as they played with the furry visitors was truly heartwarming.
Tommy Oniel, a comedian and singer, followed with a performance that had everyone in stitches. His humour and musical talents brought much-needed laughter and joy, creating a lively and cheerful environment. Laughter echoed through the home and the positive energy was palpable.
The month of entertainment continued with Rupert, a skilled pianist, who played beautiful melodies that added a touch of elegance and relaxation to our home. His performances provided a soothing backdrop, allowing residents to unwind and enjoy the serene ambiance.
These events were thoughtfully organised to bring joy, entertainment and a sense of community to the residents of Amberley Care Home. The aim was to create an engaging and lively atmosphere that would enhance the residents' overall wellbeing and happiness. The emotional and social benefits of these activities were significant, fostering a sense of camaraderie and enriching the residents' daily lives.
In addition to these wonderful events, we are proud to announce that we had a range of Employees of the Month for June 2024. Their dedication, compassion and tireless efforts have made a tremendous impact on the residents and staff alike.
