This month has already been super busy for Amberley Care Home, with lots of events and activities taking place.
Like most of the UK, we have been trying to make the most of the little summer that we have had and with the recent heatwave, we made the most of it by having a BBQ one afternoon. We invited friends, family and pets to join in.
The whole afternoon was filled with lots of chatter and laughter as everyone had such a lovely time. With the change in season approaching, we will be taking our hosting inside, especially with the festive season approaching.
The excitement continued in our home as we had a special visit from Scruffy from Pets as Therapy. Scruffy is a rescue dog and a cancer survivor who has been bringing joy to many people across Manchester since the age of 2 - Scruffy is now 15 years old!
All of our residents loved having cuddles with Scruffy and we are sure he will be making a return over the next few months for another session with our residents.
