Celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee with a Garden Party

At Amberley Care Home in Sale, Cheshire we celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a variety of Great British delights.

On Friday the 3rd of June, we were delighted to be able to welcome relatives to join our staff and residents in commemorating 70 years of the Queen's service to those in the United Kingdom. We marked the occasion with a party in our private garden and the sun shone brightly along with our residents and relatives who were in fantastic spirits throughout the day.

It was certainly a day to remember, as we all gathered around to share fish and chips, cakes fit for a queen, games, and a good old sing-along.

We also shared good conversation and lots of laughs, as the day brought a great opportunity to reminisce over fond memories and experiences.

We would like to thank all those who were involved in our Jubilee events for helping us celebrate such a momentous time. We look forward to the next celebrations.
