Residents & Staff Enjoy Pyjama Party to Raise Money for Children in Need

Children in Need PJ Day

On Friday 19th of November, the fabulous residents and staff at Amberly Care Home in Manchester raised £54.31 for Children in Need by having their very own PJ party. It was a special day where everyone could dress in their finest PJs for as long as they wanted.

Children in Need is currently supporting more than 2,500 charities and projects across the UK that are helping children and young people facing a range of disadvantages such as living in poverty, being disabled or ill, or experiencing distress, neglect or trauma.

Our Activities Co-ordinator Graeme organised an arts and crafts afternoon for our residents to get creative colouring in their own Pudsey bear, whilst chatting away to fellow residents and staff members.

At Amberley Care Home we encourage our residents to participate in a variety of different activities and projects allowing our residents to socialise and get to know each other to feel a sense of independence and responsibility.

We have seen the first-hand benefits that our activities programme has on our residents. We believe that no two days should be the same, which is why our teams go to great efforts to arrange different activities and get involved in fundraising events at our home and within the community.
If you think Amberley Care Home might be suitable for you, or your loved one and would like to find out more about the wide range of different facilities that we have to offer, then please contact one of our friendly team members today. We look forward to hearing from you.
