Tuck Shop Delight

Tuck shops are a great way of bringing joy to our residents as well as evoking fond memories from bygone years.  We can all remember when we were allowed to go to the corner shop with some treasured pennies to get some treat sweets and that's just what the team at Amberley Care Home have created.

An old trolley was spruced up by Sarah the Catering Manager and transformed into a mobile tuck shop. Offering an array of old fashioned sweet favourites, soft drinks, magazines and puzzle books, the residents are provided with tokens that they can exchange for treats.
