A Very Special Christmas Delivery

This week we had a very special delivery from some generous locals who shop at Dunelm in Altrincham. Our residents have been very fortunate to receive presents that have been kindly bought by members of the community as well as donated by Dunelm. As a result, we received a total of 311 gifts tailored to each residents age, gender and interests and 60 jars of coffee for the staff. All of us at Amberley Care Home feel very touched and inspired by these act of kindness.

In return, residents of Amberley filled out gift tags that were then sent back to Dunelm in Altrincham, where they were hung on a wish tree inside the store for shoppers to see. We would like to thank our staff member Lisa's daughter who works at the store and set this up on our behalf.

At Amberley Care Home, we are very lucky to be part of such a thoughtful community and we are extremely looking forward to every opportunity that 2022 will bring for us to get involved and give back.
